Opening Speeches

The welcome speeches by the President of the Administrative Board of the Youth Board of Cyprus, Mr Andreas Vyras, the Minister of Education and Culture, Mr George Demosthenous, the opening address by the Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, Ms Androulla Vassiliou, and also the speeches by the President of the European Youth Forum, Mr Peter Matjašič and by the President of the Cyprus Youth Council, Ms Sophie Tsouris highlighted the key role of the youth participation in the social inclusion. Moreover, it was mentioned the key role of the youth organizations in the social inclusion so they should be further supported. The youth delegates are optimists that their recommendations will be taken into consideration.
